In Italy, people never eat in the car (Italian cars don't have cupholders)! They sit down and enjoy the time when eating instead of wolfing things down. Generally, things are less efficient here, but life is less stressful, too.Kaarinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13143002768899959975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4881223076633180042.post-60533362078857620052010-06-10T19:37:32.378-07:002010-06-10T19:37:32.378-07:00wow I really like the insight here Spencer. I thin...wow I really like the insight here Spencer. I think that you hit the nail on the head with us living in the culture that we do and needing everything to be fast, easy, and cheap.

I don't think that this is something that just happened. it is something that has been happening since the 20th century or just before. when we started getting all of these new technologies the world began to change and us, as a people began to change. over time, collectively, we all feel the need to get things done faster than the time before and even having to wait in line for 2 minutes seems like some sort of inconvenience or person offence given because someone else was being helped. I think that even though it has gotten to this point that it will probably get worse as the years go on and the technology increases.

However, I feel that by being aware of this, individually, one by one we can change. Though I must add that just because a few change, the world probably wont but its worth a try. I think that noticing it and bringing it up is the first step.Chelsea Georgenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4881223076633180042.post-31002167100258325172010-04-08T08:34:08.691-07:002010-04-08T08:34:08.691-07:00This is dripping with Harrison. This is dripping with Harrison.DJ Scheererhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11549607456089847989noreply@blogger.com
